Alibaba The Barber
A concept website for Alibaba The Barber in Hatfield, Pretoria, built with React, TypeScript, Vite and Tailwind CSS. A blackletter wordmark and neon pink and blue on black carry the brand, followed by a featured clipper, the full price list, a gallery of cuts, the story behind the shop and a booking section.

The problem
Alibaba The Barber works by appointment from a printed price list, with no website to send a new client to that showed the work, the prices and how to book in one place.
The goal
Design a one-page site that carries the shop’s “Quality or Nothing” identity, puts every service and price on the page, and keeps a way to book one tap away.
Insights
Putting the complete price list on the page, booked and same-day rates side by side, answers the first question most new clients message about before they ever reach out.
Building the identity from the shop’s own logo, photos and colours made the concept read as Alibaba’s brand rather than a generic barbershop template.
